Red Hot Riders San Diego Motorcycle Club promotes: Ride for the Heart's A Ride for the Heart IronSocks 500 Mile Charity Fun Run.
In 2007 we had our first IronSocks 500 Charity Fun Run in conjunction with our two Iron Butt rides. Over 85 riders participated in the first IronSocks 500 ride and they raised over $8,500.00.
This ride is an opportunity for you to participate in a format similar to the long distance Iron Butt rides, but at only half the
distance of a SaddleSore 1000. If you would like to support the efforts of the Ride for the Heart Foundation and raise money for
our very worthy causes, we welcome your participation. We challenge you to help break the 2007 fundraising record. We’ve heard that
one ladies group is going to challenge others to ride and raise money. Come on riders, take on the challenge!
Several starting points will be available to start your adventure. Just as with one of our Iron Butt events, you are guaranteed a
great time. You will be supporting a worthwhile charity and at the end of the day will have completed a ride that will give you a
great sense of accomplishment. So, come participate in our 2nd Annual IronSocks Ride. The specific routes will be announced mid-
February 2008. Sign up early to get your rider and fund raising package so that you and your friends can start planning.
Your $65.00 rider pre-registration includes a suggested ride route of approximately 500 miles, ride pin, patch and t-shirt along with a rider certification of completion.
On-Line Registration opens January 15, 2008 and closes April 15, 2008.

Red Hot Riders San Diego Motorcycle Club promotes: A Ride for the Heart 1000/1500 Mile Charity Fundraiser - and -
Iron Butt Association SaddleSore 1000/24 and BunBurner 1500/36 Qualifier.
Come participate in our 4th Annual Ride for the Heart 1000/1500; “A Ride of a Lifetime.” You asked for it and now we’re mixing it up.
We are currently lining up multiple starting points which will include both Northern California, Southern California and Nevada routes.
Several new routes and starting points are planned so you will have multiple choices for your scenic Iron Butt ride. The specific routes
will be announced mid-February 2008. Sign up early to get your rider and fund raising package so that you and your friends can start
planning the ride of a lifetime! Come participate in our 4th Annual Ride for the Heart 1000/1500; “A Ride of a Lifetime.”
Your $125.00 rider registration includes a suggested ride route of approximately 1,000 or 1,500 miles, ride pin, patch and t-shirt
and after completion, an IBA Certificate.
On-Line Registration opens January 15, 2008 and closes April 15, 2008.
Note: The Ride for the Heart Foundation will not be taking registrations past April 15, 2008.

As motorcyclist, our first and most common thoughts are about the great rides, great roads, great friends, and, of course, righteous
toys. Those thoughts don't normal stray to less fun but equally important aspects of the sport like whether you have the right type
or amount of insurance to cover damage (bike or body) or theft. So, this month let's pit for a reality check and welcome Daniel Curry,
an avid motorcyclist and Farmers Insurance Agent. Daniel will share with us newly available insurance products for owner/riders and
passengers, as well as answer any "what if" questions you might have about insurance. Stop by and use this opportunity to take stock
of what you have now what kind of insurance or levels you might need. Then, worry free, you can get back to the great rides, great
roads...

Red Hot Riders San Diego Motorcycle Club promotes: A Ride for the Heart “Big Trees Ride and Tour”.
(BIG TREES, riding, parties, food, fun, beauty, more BIG TREES and more riding - you’ll talk about this touring ride the rest of the year –
limited to the first 150 riders). Have you ever ridden through the Sequoia National Forest and seen the majestic big Sequoias? What
about riding down the Avenue of the Giants in the Redwoods National Park along the California Northern coast? Well, now is your chance
to ride both . . . all in one ride. Even if you have ridden them, come on out, let’s make great memories together.
Riders who participated in and rode on the the 7 Passes Ride in 2007 will tell you that you get your money’s worth when you ride with
us. We’re adding an additional day to our ride so that you’ll have time to really appreciate the Big Trees that these two National Parks
have to offer.
Sign up early for the Big Trees Ride and Tour! We’ll start riding in the cool mountains of the Sierra Nevada's and then through the
California coastal mountains where the Redwoods reside. We plan to limit this touring ride to 150 riders. Make your plans now because
this ride is sure to be a sell out. More details will follow.
